Mailing lists

Our primary way of keeping in touch with each other is through an email list.

The EhBC list forms the basis of our community, so we’re a little bit cautious about who we invite in. If you’re interested in joining the list, you must attend one of ourlocal events or be recommended by someone who has, and who has met you in person.

There are two reasons for this policy.  The first is to ensure that everybody on the list is of legal age (over 18).  It’s much too easy for some 14-year-old boy to sign on and claim to be a 45-year old Dominatrix, and we don’t want to be responsible if that sort of thing happens.

The second reason is to ensure that we don’t end up with people having more than one “identity” on the list, something which has been a problem in other groups.

If you are unable to attend our events for some reason, but you have a friend (who you’ve met in real life) who is on the list and can vouch for you, drop us some email using the Contact Us link above to let us know.

That’s also the best way to reach us if you have any questions about the munches or the group itself.

It’s worth pointing out that the list administrators have the final say on who gets added to the list, and they reserve the right to refuse anyone who they feel may have a seriously disruptive influence on the group.

We actually have two lists: a general discussion list, and an announcements-only list that has much lower traffic. The announcements list is used to announce upcoming social activities in the Southern Ontario area.  Be sure to let us know which list you’d like to be on.

We also have a list of Frequently Asked Questions.

The rules for the discussion list can be found here. The reasons for setting the list up the way we have can be found here.
